This is the most common question we get. Straight and resistant lashes generally need longer on the LIFT step than fine lashes do, and the timing card has a separate row for exactly that. Many customers with straight, resistant lashes report strong results. Some lash types take best and some take longer, and we would rather tell you that than pretend every lash behaves the same. Individual results vary.
This is the single most common thing that goes wrong with any at-home lift, and it is almost always prep. The Beginner Guide includes a prep checklist for cleaning the lash line first, guidance on trimming the pad to your eye shape, and how to reposition if a lash lifts off mid-process. Work one eye at a time. If it still will not hold, message us before you process - that is what the support line is for.
Patch test 24 hours before your first lift, on skin, not on lashes. Keep your eyes closed throughout and work in a ventilated room. If any irritation occurs, stop use. If you have a known reaction to perming or keratin products, or any active eye condition, talk to your doctor before using this or any lash lift kit.
Both happen, and both usually have a fixable cause. Uneven almost always traces to pad placement or to processing one eye longer than the other - the guide has a symmetry check you do before you process, not after. A lift that does not take is usually an under-processed coarse lash. Do not immediately re-lift to correct it; wait the full 6 to 8 weeks. Message us with a photo and we will tell you what we think went wrong.
